Domestic Violence Intervention and Education

ACRS works in coordination with other organization to stop domestic violence in Asian Pacific American communities by providing intervention, referrals and community education.

Batterers' Treatment
ACRS works with individuals to change their abusive behavior as well as the beliefs and values that comprise the foundation for their use of violence.

  • Minimum one-year, state-mandated group treatment
  • Affordable individual counseling
  • Referrals to other needed services, such as substance abuse treatment or mental health counseling

Victim Liaison Service
ACRS focuses on the safety of people in abusive situations by coordinating resources, ensuring linkages to other services and helping to create an emergency safety plan.

Dating Violence Education for Youth
ACRS' Teen Peer Advocate Program is comprised of trained young women who conduct workshops on developing healthy relationships and identifying dating violence. With support from professional counselors, they also provide one-on-one support to peers at their schools.
